Count Down

So let’s see...well,

It's been my goal to work in a summer camp since I was 12 years old I’m now 18 so I soon meet my dream.

I have 18 days till I leave, I’ve been working my ass off at work (Maccas) in order to get more spending money, but at the moment I seem to be burning myself out, looks like I'll have only 3 days off, with long hours in between, not looking forward to it.

Remembering the information session in Canberra it was all high hopes, then was told it will be very hard for those under age 22 to get a job unless you have the qualifications, with all those under that age will have to go through the head office system. I applied in September/October (completed my application) then in December/January my brother went to one of the job fairs (stealing my dream) and gets place right then and there, with no organisation or money at all.

I was so relieved when my doctor said I was fit/healthy enough to go to camp- I have a pre exciting condition in my hip that they can’t quite figure out it’s a long painful story, (caused grief for about a decade). at the moment I am pain free, yeah!!

Tomorrow getting braces tightend then again 2 weeks later, just hoping that i'll have no problems with it over in the states, it's not coverd in medical insurance even under pre existing (hate to think of the cost to get it fixed in America), so yeah hoping for it all to be ok.

Just yesterday came in contact with someone else going to the same camp as me, which is such a relief, for a sec their I thought that someone made the camp up and me being the only one going, but thanks to Zoe I was wrong.

I'm going to start packing next week so I can make sure I have everything and it works. I don't wanna be like my brother packing of the morning that he leaves for America, yes that's right my brother is working at summer camp about to leave and still not ready, (thankfully not the same camp and yes in different states). It scares me that he said he was ready but he still hasn’t got anything, let alone that fact I was going a check list I got for my camp and he said he doesn't need soap!!! I mean seriously.
