OH MY GOSH!

2 days left...techincally...I leave on saturday for camp! I can't believe how quickly it has come around. I feel like I've forgotten something, or missed something..or lost something! Hopefully I haven't..I keep checking all my paperwork about 3 times a day! obsessive I know but this will be the first time I'm actually travelling alone and don't want anything to go wrong.

I've almost finished packing, just have a few little bits to add at the top and I'm done. haven't weighed the case yet but I hope it's no more than 23kg as I don't know what I would take out!

I went to see Sex and the City with my mum and sister this evening, it was so good. Had a little tear at one point...it's such a great film, can't wait for the DVD to be released!

Well. This will probably be my l a s t b l o g for a while. Not sure what I make of the blog process? just somewhere to type out my thoughts I guess.

Howdy!!

First note is - well done to Manchester United for winning this evening, the penalties were absoloute torture!! Deserved winners in my book!

Well...now that's over. I booked my Trek America today!! Yey!! Best of the East tour leaving New York on the 15th of August! I can't wait :D Also booked Jazz on Lennox hostel in NYC with my friend for 7 days before I fly back on my free flight home!! It's all set in stone now and I'm going to have awesome travel time after camp! I'm so glad!

9 more days Until camp for me!! Oh..My...God! Why has it come around so fast? I have so many things to do, cancel direct debits, attempt to claim my tax back of the damn inland revenue *banned words* and buy lots of things as well, flashlights, padlocks...etc All so tedious but days are dragging by! I'm really scared about saying goodbye to my parents at the airport though. I don't want to cry and look a mess when I meet people from camp in departures but I know I will...shall take plenty of powder and concealer to hide the puffyness!

So the time is coming near!

2 weeks on saturday infact. I still have nothing worth wearing on camp, no shorts, no t-shirts. the only thing I have is a pair of trainers and plenty of 'off-camp' outfits!! Oh dear!

Return Flight details came out for me today. Not sure if I want to buy the DIY from new york instead of just the free one? Things can always go wrong even if I do plan things out?! hm....shall ponder on it...but not for too long!!

I'm concerned as to how much $$$$ I'm going to need....eek! it's such a dilemma, It would be ok if I have preivously gone and would have a little incline as to how much I need. oh well. If I take more than I think I'll need should be ok....now, where to get that money from is the next issue really?! ARGH!

Hey Y'all!

So it's really late, I just finished typing a 3,000 word essay and feel the need to type more....crazy I know!

I have 23 days until I depart from heathrow airport and it all came around so fast!! one minute it was february and I was being recruited into Camp Louise, PA and the next I haven't even got a suitcase!! dearie me...

So I'm heading to Pennsylvania (I hope I spelt that right I have been trying to learn!!) to a girl scouts camp named camp louise. I'll be going as a general counselor with skills in the performing arts. I have dreamt of doing camp for so long but was hanging onto those free summer holidays with the parentals while they lasted.

My camp finishes on the 4th of August so I have AGES to travel and will hopefully be booking onto the best of the east trek america tour and spending a week in NY afterwards to hopefully catch the broadcasting of the US Open in Madison Square Gardens :D

So my first blog...how did it go? I'll probably get as addicted to this as I am to the forums. I apologize for any typo's I have made, I'm really bad for that!
