Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

yeah me too! :lol: i wish there was more books i love them! :( i'm always writing my own novels/short stories so perhaps in the absence of hp i may eventually finish one! :D though with camp & forum on the brain who knows! :lol:

I have actually started drafting it - but what I have done has been lost on a disc that got miss placed over the summer (I backed up all my data before I went to camp that disc has gotten lost!) so have to start again - if i ever get time!

i've done that before & its sooooo frustrating! :evil: i hope you do get time as it sounds like it would be an awesome book! :D perhaps you'll have to get a notebook so you can take it with you & randomly write bits if you have a free moment! like on the plane! thats what i try & do & it can be quite successful unless you lose any bits as i have done before! :( only once though so not doing too badly! :D

I do have a not book like that - i am not sure where it is but it has all the story notes that i had come up with until i went to camp last summer!

i think i shall take one with me to camp, that way i can write down funny stuff or any ideas i think of for my books (maybe one of my half finished ones too!), easier than attempting to keep a diary when i know i'll fail miserably at it! :oops:

I managed to keep a travel diary of my trip to the States last time....thats the only time I've successfully journaled!!

Anna, the idea of short stories from your camp experiences is cool, you shoul definitely do it!! :D

I might actually buy a travel journal, i saw a really cool one in paperchase (though i don't know why paperchase has to be so much more expensive even if the stuff is nice! :?) so i'm thinking i can write a little bit & more if we do anything out of the ordinary or i visit anywhere interesting (other than camp!:D)! I think i may just have to stick stuff if it or buy a scrapbook! :?: though it'd be interesting to look through afterwards.....hmmmm!!! :? i'm too indecisive! :shock:

I have a friend who tried to diary every single day of a backpacking trip in Aussie. She'd get weeks behind but still try to write an entry for each day!!
