oh cool so you two are defently going thats a relive to know someoen who is also going now god im so nervous but excited at the same time how are you feeling about it ?
i so want to travel but dont really want to travel by myself and then theres the hardest part chosing where lol . nice to meet ya by the way x |

Oh yay now theres two people I know that are going the makes it so much more easier knowing that Im guna know some people when I get there!!
I just got my 'official acceptance' letter in the mail today and got an email from travel cafe with an itinerary man Im excited now lol.
I really want to go travelling too!! I want to go to new york and a few places around America and then end up in Calenfornia to do like a month long road trip! With American food!! And driving on the right side of the road :S But I need people to go with lol so anyone keen?? Hey
Me too! I went out and brought my "America book" that im guna do all my planning stuff in and get my friends to write in before I go so i can look back to their comments when I get home sick and im guna keep lots of photos and stuff in it lol sounds abit lame I know but meh. Im definately travelling afterwards I've extendid my flights to about 8/9 weeks after camp finishes. I def want to go to new york and do a massive road trip around calefornia. Not too sure about where else yet still got to do some research about the best places. Oooo but two of my friends who did camp america last year at different camps said that their favourite place was Chicago, which is only like a 5 hour drive from our camp! But ofcorse this is all assuming im guna be able to find some people from our camp to go travelling with! You should def go travelling! A mates sister is doing a camp but at a dif one. And then there is Beth and Greg who have commented on this forum before who are going so that's 4 of us so far who are at camp sunnyside! Oh Im from Auckland, New Zealand, im 18 and just finished my senior year at high school so this is my gap year before I go to uni. It seems like camps ages away but it's really only about 14 weeks...Eeee I can't wait! I bet orientation is going to be so much fun! I've never been out of New Zealand before so this is a big thing for me. How about you have you done much travelling? Or have you worked with people who have special needs before?

Hi
Bin to a few places I visited New Zealand when I was twelve stayed with family for 6 weeks I remember it was amazing i went to Auckland I've bin to places alot closer to home like Spain, Amsterdam and France but New Zealnd was the best i remember goin to a water park called Wiwera hot pools and places lik Goat Island and Takapuna beach but dnt really remember what was there lol
I havent worked with special needs people before have u??
I'm planning to go travelling so we shud arrange to go togeather if ya want ??
I jus want to visit Florida to go to Disney Land and Sea World  very sad I no but neva bin to America before so jus want to try it any where else Im not bothered about I'll go any were. My friends doin Camp America this year too she's in Sunset Beach New York really posh in the Hamptons Your book idea sounds great!!

All this camp talk is getting me excited i seriously can not wait to go! i want to go travelling for sure after but im not to certain fo plans or anything at the moment but i know i want to go to calfornia. A trip to Chigaco would b ace as well seen as it only like 5 hours away from us! what day are u guys all flying out?

god im getting so excited theres four of us going now yay lol ! we can be the fantastic four cool your from new zeland be nice to meet soemoen form another country and hear about your ways of life . si when is every one going ? im going may 29th so nervous
im so unsure about travling getting worried about getting money , when i went on the trek america website i realsied that it cosst way may than you think you have to spend £$ a day on a foood kity and about £!%) goes on the few hotels you stay in let alone spending money but yeah we should do a trip to chicago on our day of and i was looking online and found a theme park in iowa and it looks really good .

Ive confirmed my flight details the other day im flying from heathrow on 2nd June dont finish uni until the 31st May so its gonna be very interesting lol. I'm 19 from Newport but go to uni in Aberystwyth. Ive worked with speical needs children this summer but it was onnly really bheavioural problems such as adhd, aspergers (sp) and global development disorder. Dnt worry about all the questions im really ill at the moment so its distracting me!
Ive poked round a bit on the internet too and theres a palce in the state above Iowa, Minoseta (?) called the mall of america and it claims to be the biggest mall in america so tht would be worth checking out i recon!
