Hi Amanda, that is so exciting to hear someone else is going there. Are you a general counsellor, I am a unit leader but not too sure what there is yet have you booked flights?

Yeah am gonna be a general counsellor! I think ive got flights sorted, at least I ended up throwing money at CA for some flights thingy when they asked for it! They've given me a departure date and am flying out to NY from Glasgow on the 14th of June? not sure... will have to check agen!
What are you doing as a unit leader? sounds important!

Not 100% sure yet what a unit leader does, think I look after a unit of about 40 kids and counsellors so you never know we could be in the same unit. Im probably guna b an oldie compared to most people at 23 !!!!!haha.
I fly into NY round the 5th June as our training starts a little earlier. Im soo xcited about it!!! Are you travelling after camp? Im heading to the UK on my OE and ameven going to Scotland(Inverness) as I have a mate there, where in Scotland are you from?

I dunno about travelling after camp yet ill see what happens! am excited too!! I hope you are used to cold coz thats wat inverness is gonna be, or 'baltic' so the scots would say! Im from Edinburgh (but originallly Manchester in England) I now study architecture at the college of art here my studios look on to Edinburgh Castle!

What do you do? Oh and hows the weather that end of the world!? no doubt glorious sunshine and such! lol

i'll br 21 when i get to camp. I'm so excited. yeah im going travelling afterwards but don't want to make plans till i get to camp as im sure they will end up getting changed

cool, same here, will just decide later, I have a ticket booked to london from LA round 9th Sept, so as long as I get there by then. : )

i just got my flight i'm flying on the 6th of june as im completing the lifeguard course before camp starts, are eith of you doing the course.

I think I arrive on 5th or 6th June, Im not doing the lifesaver course but as Im a unit leader our training starts on the 8th and I jyst wanted to settle in a few days before we start.
