Hey, I'm a first timer too. Kind of nervous (as well as excited) to be honest. I live in Australia so I'll be travelling solo on my first time out of my country. I haven't been officially placed but I am doing multiple interviews for Forrestel Camp at the moment. Which is in upstate New York in a town called Medina. My current one is with one of the riding co-ordinators because they're thinking of making me an instructor, which is a bit daunting. I've ridden horses for a long time but I've never been an instructor before. I hope they take me, I'm so excited at even the prospect of going to this camp!!!

yeh its going to be my first time, it will also be the first time i go abroad by myself, and the longest iv been away from family and friends. Really excited some of my mates keep sayin they want to meet up with me after camp in new york or LA - dont think they actually will,but could be quite cool if they did. Yeh my camp hasnt decided my actually role yet - id either be teaching arts and crafts or photography or assisting in both, so it will be my first time teaching which kool, already im thinking of different projects i could do if i get to choose them.

Hi Its my first time too....Im sooooo excited but still waiting to be placed so fingers crossed i get one! I'm really nervous about going on my own and my boyfriend isnt too happy about me going away for a few months but i can't wait!

I teach gymnastics at my camp too Any questions I'm very happy to answer! Perhaps we can talk and discuss lesson plans etc etc?
