As you probably know Bess finally rang me! It was wonderful to talk to her. Thanks again for all your help in getting her to phone!

I bought her (with her money!!!) a laptop on Sat. It is a refurbished one .... only used as for business. It is an IBM Thinkpad T42 Pentium M-1 and only cost $770 including a new carry case. It has Windows XP Professional on it. It is in really good condition and still has an IBM warranty until April 08. I am sure it will be very suitable for what she needs!

Yooo whooooo Marty! Where are you??????

Sorry about the sudden loss of Marty Computers, the internet died after a massive thunderstorm, we have been using Kislak computers the past few days but I haven't had chance to get online.

I am writing this in Round Lake again so after 10+ days without internet it looks like we might finally have it back!

Yay!

Hooray! I have missed catching up on all the Round Lake news Bess did actually tell me that the computers were down so I knew why you weren't responding and that you weren't just ignoring me!!!

Well not long now til the end of camp. It seems to have gone very quickly....for us anyway We leave on our trip on Sun so we are very excited. I think we are meeting up with Bess & Serena on the 23rd so that will be wonderful.

Funny thing was after about 5 days of no interent I said to Bess I hope your mums not worried about us not being online!

Camp has been strange this year for me re time parts seem to have taken ages others have been really quick .... its a bit strange.

Glad your lucking forward to your trip I'm still organising ware I am heading after camp!

I must admit I was a bit worried at first and I wondered if you had been told to stop sending me messages!!! Then Bess told me what had happened.

luckily for Bess, Serena has done all the arranging for her!! They just have to manage to meet up somehow in NY. Hope they find each other!!!

I hope the weather has improved for you Marty. It's kind of special to have a 'different' birthday isn't it? Certainly makes it one to remember!

Could you tell Bess that Serena has booked seats for them on the Greyhound bus to Miami. I think they are leaving on the 18th so they will have a couple of nights in NY first. She really needs to contact Serena to work out where/how they will meet. It would be a big help if she got her phone working!!!

We leave tomorrow (Sun) and I am not sure whether I will get a chance to access the forum again.

It has been wonderful 'meeting' you......we might even get to meet you in person one day!!
