Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

I have just booked the American Southwest trek departing on the 15th Aug from San Francisco... anybody else considering this trek or already booked it?

Hi, I'm also eager to go on roadtripen .. :P I ended up at a camp in pennsylvania :) Seems like most have awesome experience to go with Camp America. Does anyone know how it is, if it´s possible to change the date, when you booked? Would like to book it now but my end date must be confirmed first.

Thinking along the same lines, starting to plan the trip and wondering whats the best one to do? and which company to choose? I definitely want to do a coast to coast if i can, but i got to back for uni so time constraints might force me to do a west coast tour only, which is still awesome though. What are people's thoughts.

Hey guys, I'm booked on the 22-day westbound trek on the 22nd August.

Just wondering what everyone's doing about getting home after the trek finishes, cos obviously we end in SF?

i've booked a flight back to ny for £89 and then getting a fixed date flight home from ny, cheaper than getting the diy option flight home :)

Sup guys I would love to do the East to West coast trek but don't feel it's right to sign up for it now, as I know when I get to camp I'll meet some mates and we could have done something different.. I was hoping to wait until I'm settled at camp and met some mates before I make my decision on what to do after but I understand that spaces for the treks run out! I don't know what to do!! One thing's for sure I know I'm going to use every day of the grace period up... Any ideas on what to do guys? Shall I sign up now?
