Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

Yeah general counsellor, she originally emailed me about the photography leader role but in the skype interview asked me what i'd prefer and I said I wanted to do a bit of everything! She said she'd email sun / mon with a decision so checked my emails last night and she'd already emailed offering me the position. I don't really know how it works but it might be that she's able to make a decision on them roles quicker as there are more of them available, rather than specific fields like photography so it might be why I heard quite quickly!! Hey girls!
I had an interview with camp winona yesterday, and now i'm waiting for her to email me back. I just really hope that I get placed at this camp, as it sounds amazing! :D How long did you all have to wait to know whether you had been placed or not? I hope I did well enough in my interview!

yeah she said that I would know by the end of the week, so still a while to go. Jenn said that they wanted me to be a unit counsellor, and this sounded like so much fun, so now i want to go even more! :D

Hey girls! Emailed Jenn on Tuesday as I still hadn't heard anything, she told me it'd be another two days whilst she sorts out the roles for the summer..so hopefully will hear something today! Thanks for all the luck..been checking my email soo often..fingers crossed it's today!!

YAAAYY! Congrats! Well done - so excited for summer right now! :D Just a quick question girls, I've been posting on loads of forums about after camp travel and was just wondering if any of you were interested in travelling after camp seeing as we're finishing from the same place at the same time it could be quite cool if we did something together??

I was thinking mainly east coast - So public transport down to Orlando and Miami and see other bits on the way - then back to NY spend some time there and fly home :) What about you? I think i might just try and get back to NY for the flight home... :/ Still undecided though xxx

Woahh...this sounds good!! Was aiming for New York and Washington but this would be amazing! My boyfriends also doing Camp America but he finishes 13 days after me..so we probably won't be able to meet up this time..as it might get expensive..but you never know ;)! Are you getting a fixed flight back from NY? My flight there is at 11:15am, is it the same for you? xxx
