I only live about an hour away from London by train but that still means getting up mighty early!

ive got to be there for 11:30 so not to bad ...is there no where to leave phones when u get inside .... dont really want to attempt to refind the people im going with without my phone lol! Xx

Luckily I'm at Uni in Canterbury, so I'm really not far from London at all.

Where abouts are you travelling in from?

Manchester, its only 2 and a half hours on the train which isn't to bad, only problem is I'm going in rush hour so it will take me a while to get to Manchester city centre on the bus.

Fancy meeting up as i have no clue where to go in London?

I'm just concerned about spending like 5 hours waiting around, I've heard of people spending ages waiting for their interviews, and you're not allowed to take anything electronic in there. :/

Mines at half 12 and my train is booked home for 3 :/ I have took a bit of a risk there! Is anyone else taking phones & stuff because I don't know if to as your not allowed to take them in embassy so don't know what to do with it? X

I think there's someone from CA outside the building or something who looks after phones, from what I've heard anyway!

Its really easy to get from Paddington to Bond Street (which is the closest tube station), it should take no more than 10 minutes then maybe a 5 minute walk from the tube to the embassy.

Get a Zone 1-2 Day Travel Card for the tube from the ticket machines in the station, its £7 off peak (after 9.30 Mon-Fri, all day weekends) and £8.40 peak times (before 9.30). This will do you for any tube or bus journey you need for the whole day in Zones 1&2 (embassy and paddington are both in Zone 1).

Get on the Southbound Bakerloo line (brown) at Paddington, go 3 stops and change at Baker Street for the Jubilee Line (grey), and go one stop southbound to Bond Street. Get off and walk to the Embassy! (its a really short walk).
