I finished my A-level college courses in the summer (Business, Film + Ancient History) and wanted to travel the world before I join the Royal Marines so since college I've been working full-time as a lifeguard, saving the pennies!
Have been placed at Sandyhill Camp, Maryland and am ecstatic!! Cannot wait for our summers to begin.. after camp I'm going to do a road trip from East coast to West, should be sick!!! See ya out there!

Hi everyone! My names Lizanne and I'm from Luton 2012 will be my second year at camp!! And I have been fortunate enough to be able to go back to the camp I was placed in 2010!!! Clearpool, situated in Carmel, NYC. Seriously it was the BEST summer of my life. Words cannot describe!! Afterwards I went to San Francisco and Las Vegas, as well as staying in New York City as well! Been attending camp for the last 3 summers and next summer may or may not be my 4th. Depends on whether I can get a job on disney cruise lines and get my visa for the summer at the same time. Not so sure. Hopefully though.

I'm Laura. I'm 22, originally from Hampshire in the south of England but currently studying for an MA in Language Studies (basically linguistics) in Lancaster, after finishing my BA last summer.

I've spent the last 4 summers working at two different Girl Scout camps (one in RI, the other near Santa Cruz, California) - so I'm happy to answer questions people have about GS camps! Unfortunately I won't be returning to camp this summer, because my MA dissertation is due on the last day of camp! I'm a little bit of a camp addict, and have no idea how I'll be able to spend my summer at home and still be sane! To keep in touch with all things camp, this year I'm an interviewer

Going to camp is definitely one of, if not the best thing I've ever done! I absolutely love it, and think so many people should give it a go. I've learnt and grown a lot over the past few years and had a lot of fun. This year was a great one and I got to do some awesome traveling this summer! San Francisco, San Jose, Vegas (and of course Grand Canyon), LA, Chicago, Boston
