Yes me too, I have been placed in the JRF camp and I see that Lindsey, you are a returner so I have some questions about the camp :)

First what did you do in the camp ? (Camp power / Counsellor), me I will work in the Laundry( Camp power).

Where do you come from ?, About me I'm French.

Are there many people of differents countries ?

I have some others questions but that's enough for now.

Thanks

Ok, thanks for your quick answer and your help !

When will you take your flight ?, Me I'll take it the 15th June and I'll arrive to Newark Airport, is it the same flight for all people who are placed in the JRF camp, I mean will we arrive all in the same time ?

Are there places where we can do sports during our free time like basket-ball ? (I love Basket-Ball^^)

Should we make our own meals ?

Did you go out of the camp during your day off ?

Sorry if I make some faults, my english is bad

no worries :).

i fly to america on the 13th but iam spending a week in new york before i go to camp so i will arrive at camp on the 20th.

you might be on the same flight as some people that are going to camp at the same time as you but you might not.

there are lots of things to do in spare time. theres a swimming pool, lake, basketball court, baseball court and football pitch that you can use.

meals are scheduled so the whole camp eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together and the kitchen staff make the food so you don't need to make your own dinner.

during days off you will be off with a group of people and you can organise to go off camp if thats what you want to do. i went to philladelphia one day which is only a few hours on the bus but its really your choice what you do on your days off

don't worry about your english its good!

yes there is a building that is the staff lounge which has two computers and the office has computers which we can usually use. Also some of the americans bring their laptops and they let you borrow them if you want.

Julien do you have facebook? I have lots of pictures from camp on there and things if you want to have a look

hey Lindsey!

I'm from a small town called Bedfordshire (South East of England) its near Milton Keynes , ill be surprised if you've heard of it to be honest lol.

I do have a question for you though , at Camp JRF are we going to be going on outings such as other towns or attraction parks because at my orientation the guy was like we might go on trips?
