Hey there, I'm Jay and i am returning to camp northwood this year. It will be my 3rd year, well excited. Missed it so much this summer gone but will be back for more fun times and a great laugh

If any new guys going to Camp Northwood have any questions, just drop a message in here and i will be happy to answer them the best i can or any other of the returners that join this forum.

nice to hear that you are coming to northwood. it will be great.

my flight is on the 26th at the moment but i may be going out early to do my lifeguard course again. but that is still in the air need to contact gordie on that again.

how did you hear about northwood? what are you looking forward to the most? are you at uni?

I've got my lifeuarding thing a the beginning of April, i think!!

And i saw it on the Camp America site and at the recruitment fairs.

And i'm most looking forward to working with the kids !! Also hope that i will make some life long friends there!!

the kids are brill, you'll love them.

well i am looking 4wrd to the kids as well but also hopefully some sun this year and lots of it, the last year i went it rained for about 5 days straight and at least 2 a week. great times. so bring a rain jacket lol

yer i am at uni as well, final year sports therapy student, hard work, lots to do and not a lot of time to do it.

Today I've recived a mail from CA, saying that I've been placed to Northwood. My starting date is 27 june. And I still haven't done my visa neither my medical certificate.


Today I'll call the embassy and figuer out if I'll be able to come.

Not long now, only 10 days!!

I think we will be on the same flight from Heathrow, my flight number is VS1 which is the Virgin Atlantic flight that departs Heathrow around 4pm! Im flying from Newcastle down to Heathrow and have along 3 hour wait until check in lol but im going to be absolutely buzzin!!
