Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

 Suitcase weights

ah cool! thats good cos it want as much weight allowance as possible. well not too much.jus enough weight for me 2 bring some shoppin back from america. Well if i have enough money too spend that is. im gonna buy some birthday presents while im there. its my brothers birthday in july, my sisters in august and my best mates in september so i said id buy them something american for their birthdays.

If you are flying into heathrow from manchester, glasgow or belfast u may one have a total 20kgs (I knowe that is the case for the flight that I am on from glasgow) although you still have the 2 bags.

for the flight to the us and back it is 23kg overall and you are allowed 2 pecies of luggage checked in within that limit. otherwise you might get charged excess luggage.

so glad im with virgin, means i can take one suitcase with me then when im in new york before i come back i can shop for 3 days, stick it in another suitcase and came back with loads and loads of clothes!

No, I don't think you can. The baggage handlers have a nice union which says they'll hurt their backs if they carry more than 23 kgs at a time in this case.
Eesh. What are all of you people bringing? In Europe, you're only allowed one bag of 20 kgs per person, with exceptions made for sports equipment and tents. At least, that was the experience when one of our Scouting groups went to Schotland by plane last year...

I no its prob been said somewhere else in the posts but was wondering r we coming bk with the same company that we flew out with and if not r there any differences in the baggage weights as since am flying out with virgin can take plenty of stuff but no use to me if can only bring bk 1/2 of it if u c wat i mean...
well hope 2 hear from one of u good ppl to let me no

Everytime I have flown both ways with the same company but I dont think that you are guarnteed to.

I'm taking 1 backpack, it weighs 21kg! too much chocoalate, but at least I'll have space and weight to bring stuff back!
