Ok so Nicholas/Stephanie
here are my travel plans from Michigan. I want to do west coast this time, last year I did Chicago.
Stay at MSU a few days with my friend
Fly to Phoenix Arizona and do the grand canyon
get a greyhound to san diego
get a greyhound to monterey and go whale watching
miss LA, bad reviews
greyhound to San Fran, stay a day before getting the bug bus tour to yosemite
back to san fran, stay a few days and then fly to either NY/Boston
If Boston stay few days and greyhound to NY for few days and free flight home
If NY stay a few days and free flight home

That itinery sounds good Laura, how much do you think you'll need to do that? Would you be booking your flights and buses over there?
Thanks Johanna

haha that itinerary has blown my mind laura!, id love to do west coast as there's only really new york, boston and washington that stands out for me on the east as far as i know. i guess its just a case of money and time limitations :). are you doing your booking and general organizing while your out in america?

look at overnight greyhounds see if you can save money on accommodation that way. i did this last year and saved a lot! not too comfortable and can be quite tiring but definately worth it

Post Wow
Laura... Nicholas r u both at willoway? annnnnd thanks tooo everyone for advice... Im only going to have what i ear which will probs be about 700 dollars so dont want to go crazy... Seems very expensive :S

I worked out u can fly from Detroit to San fran for like 214 dollars and then rent a car and drive down the coast from san fran to long beach for about 400 dollars but if theres 4 of u then its cheaper!
Then fly to new york and have a weekend there... plus cheap hotels down the coast...
It worked out about 500 dollars if theres 4 of u in a car... thats one suggestion... Do u have face book? these forum things confuse me a tad! :)

no im not at willoway but willoway when i looked it up (thats right im stalking you!!) is in west bloomfield which is a few hours from port huron, i have friends that live there for sure. my facebook is laura winfield, location rome, picture of me with my friend, i have brown hair, she has red hair, though people have said the picture doesnt show. one thing though, when does your camp finish? mine finishes late on the 21st. also you are planning on renting a car? that's a cool idea but i cant do it because you usually have to be 21 and im only 19 though i have a driving licence.
