I've only just considered doing the trek, I'd love to do one of the more adventurous ones lol but most are out of my time limit (I have a week....late August) and have to be back in NY. So the Freedom trail (cities and camping....great combo) sounds great because my travel plans were consisting of that anyway.
Should I book now? Or wait till I get to camp?

If you definitely want to go, I'd say book now - but if you're not 100% sure and would like to travel with people from camp then maybe wait? You'd just have to be aware that if you leave it too late you may not get on the trek.

Yar, apparently they fill up fast, according to the TA website. They would say that though! Altho I'd imagine it would be wise to do it sooner rather than later!

TA are offering 10% off Treks for anyone who orders their brochure, i know we get 10% off anyway but think that suggests that the Treks arent filling up that fast!!!

im in a similar position, but have spoken to some girls also going to camp and they want to travel and seem pretty relaxed about everything so am not going to book something till i get there as i dont want to miss out on whatever my friends are doing! the trek america ones look good but i would rather just stay in hotels and see cities rather than the national parks etc but need to find one like this!
