Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

Post Visa day help please!!
This may be a stupid question but i have read two things telling me different answers. i am going to the embassy tommorrow, just wondered what the situation is with phones and ipods, are we allowed to take them in or not? if not what does everyone do with them?

No your not allowed to take them in with you!! But in the square outside you have to go to the Camp America rep, there you can give it to them, they will look after it and you pick it up outside when your done!!

You can take it but CA will take it off you outside the Embassy. No electrical items are allowed inside the actaul Embassy building.

CA have people outside and they put your stuff in a bag, give you a number and you collect them when you're done.

hey im goin 2morrow aswel, im doin a 7 hour trip on my own by coach so im taking my ipod and phone! x

ok thats cool so i can take it to the embassy and they will take it off me.
yeah i also have a 7 hour bus ride and couldnt imagine it without my beloved ipod.

you can take them even when there isnt a ca rep around, they just hold onto it for you at security.
