I just went on the ACA website, then went on to the find jobs, scrolled through to see which camps I liked, then the ones that stuck out to me I sent a little e-mail.

I just introduced myself, said why I liked their camp and what position I would like to go for. Briefly explained the experience I have had working with children and then asked them to take a look at my application and gave them my camp america reference number.

dont know if it wil work tho, jus wait and see only heard back off one camp so far, and they asked for a picture of myself and my c.v. and said they would be in touch to organise a phone interview, but i havent heard off them again (this was earlier on in the week).

I'm going as well, and I haven't been placed. I'm so anxious about it as well what with the message saying how popular this year has been.

It's not too far from the train station, but since you're not familiar with Leeds I think a taxi will be the best bet.

It always used to be free to park in Leeds Met's car park, but I'm not sure if it's been built on now. :? There are multi-storys near by though.

there is camping on site, its like 40p an hour, but you dont have to pay after like half 4, or something like that, and you can drive right in, so its all good really.

Alright guys.. Im at leeds Met so thought id give you a heads up!!

Were is the orientation at.. I know leeds met but which campus!!

If it is headingley and it is after 3.30 pm you'll be fine for parking as it is free from then and the campus is opened up!! before that there is a tiny pay and display car park for 40p an hour which is a nightmare!!

If it is a civic quarter it is the same, but the amount of parking is minimal, there is a NCP car park across the road which would be fine but a little more expensive!!

If someone lets me know more i can tell you more.. i havent any details as i dont have to go to an orientation this year so dont know much about them!!
