I am definitely up for traveling after camp, although I always forget how ridiculously massive america is, haha, so probably wont be able to cover the whole of it in one traveling sesh!
I am definitely taking my own sleeping bag, I think we have one hidden around the house somewhere and I'm a little bit fussy about that kind of stuff... although have a distinct feeling I'm going to have to get over that at camp...! I'm thinking for the rest of my clothes and stuff of just taking about £50/60 to primark and buying a load of cheap clothes so that I don't care if they get ruined! Are you all flying out on the 17th? xxx

Haha yeah I know, I've had my grandma suggesting all these things I might need - I think she has visions of me going into the depths of the deepest darkest jungle or something!
I'm from Milton Keynes, just north of London, where there is unfortunately no Primark, but am at uni in Newcastle where there happens to be an amAzing one so will probably do most of my shopping up here!
Hi Dorcas, I'm going on that same flight as far as I can see - yay someone to travel with!

That's a good idea - I heard visa days were very stressful, so will probably need some retail therapy to fix that!
My doctors are charging £20 for a medical form - not as bad as £40, but still seems ridiculous, all they have to do is tick a few boxes and sign the thing!

lol I go offline for a day and there's 2 extra pages!! Just a quick one:
Hi Dorcas, hi Laura!

Cannot believe the amount they're charging ppl for medical forms. Sure I'll find out that joy soon. Presume flight details don't come til you've paid all your bits, best do that at the wkend!

And if ppl are shopping etc - count me in!

And Rhiannon - I can't believe you're from MK! I'm from Arlesey, 40 mins away. Bizarre we're both going 2 the same camp halfway across the world.

I requested to join the fb group as well - guess it's how often they check it.

Anyway best go -but great to have more ppl on the thread! x

By the way Chloe - a dissertation is a mahoosive individual project in your final year at uni. Usually a 10000 word essay, but can be a project or artefact as well.

And thanks for the link, trying 2 work it out! x

haha, I know what you mean, I read about another ten posts every time I come on here!
I think that's a really good idea to try and meet up when we go to london - I'm going there for my orientation on the 5th (I think) April... might be 4th!
Thats so funny that we only live 40mins away from each other Nicola - small world!
Ah, so excited to go!
