defo worth waiting 2 hours queueing in the freeeeezing cold lol!!!

I got placed yesterday as well as a unit counsellor for skylark ranch, very excited now all seems very real!! and yes i agree it was well worth the wait in the cold.

Yea was my first choice so headed straight for that table, luckily they liked me! Got in the queue at about quarter to 12 but didnt get in till half 1 ish. How about u? xx

i got there round about that time! i bet we were around the table at the same time!! lol

I emailed Tori a few weeks ago so she already knew who i was..which was good i guess, she even remembered my surname! hehe

I'm in the process of looking for a good sleeping bag!! ...they said to invest in a good one!! wondering how much to pay!! lol did you hear about the racoons and mice? lol xx

I know they said it is likely to get very cold at night so need lots of layers! Yes did get the talk on the mice but i'm sure it'll be fine will learn to live with them...!

I'm 21 and going to be working as a horse riding instructor I think I have to fly out on the 3rd June!!!
The table seemed to be very popular for most of the day so I reckon they probably ended up hiring a few ppl - plus they werent attending the other two recruitment fairs so they probably had to hire most of their people there.
Have either of you done camp America before?
Ye the group Tori was talking bout sounded good - plus I really don't remember a lot she said bout the camp yesterday because I was so excited so I think I really need to refresh my memory of a lot of it lol!

i got placed here as riding staff but had to turn it down as i couldnt get there for when they wanted the international riding staff to be there, i was gutted tbh! x

Aww no!! thats a bit Banned Word!! although I wouldnt worry because Tori was telling me that even as a Unit counsellor you mite be asked to fill in on the riding side if they need an extra hand!! so hopefully you'll have a chance to do that!!!

Haha! thats cool! I got very confused when your mum came over in processing coz she looked exactly like the mum of the girl who i was sat next too...so when she asked if we were going to the same camp i was like ummmmm?? lol cos i thought it was someone elses mum! haha
