What is the difference between the two. I have the I-797C one, but where do you find the MRV one...and what is it?? or are these both the same thing? Help!

right....i have found a link in my email which says that....

"You will soon receive an email from the embassy call centre that will have a confirmation of this appointment and a receipt for the MRV visa fee that has been paid by Camp America on your behalf. If you do not receive this email please check your spam box. In addition you can download a copy of the confirmation and receipt at: http://www.response-relatis.com/servlet ... orkServlet. You will need to have your passport number available to use this service."

I never recieved the email from the embassy, so i have clicked on the link and entered my passport no and DOB but it wont accept it! I am starting to panic as my Visa date is on tuesday and CA foneline is shut at weekends! arghhhh

I'm pretty sure those are the same thing. You haven't had anything from the embassy? I kept getting e-mails like "Your appointment is in 1 week" etc.

wowow stop here

the two are NOT the same. just google the two and you will find that out.

wasnt there sevis fee paid by camp america already and the prove was sent to us? you will definately have to pay the mrv fee.

"Do I still have to pay the MRV fee if I have paid the SEVIS fee?

Yes. Almost all visa applicants for any type of visa must pay the processing or MRV fee. In addition to the processing fee, most students and exchange visitors must pay the $100 SEVIS fee. To determine if you need to pay the SEVIS fee, see Visa Fees or check with your school or program manager."

My bad :P It was so long ago that I got mine done.

About your fee reciept, try again in the morning and if it still doesn't work you'll have to call CA or if there is a help number on the embassy webpage try that :)

You absolutely need it for the appointment.

No you dont pay anyuthing while at the embassy. If you've paid your £80 visa fee on CAd then thats your visa sorted.
