Does anyone know how it works if you need to get from where your camp is back to new york? My camp is in Kentucky but i am meeting friends in New York after camp. Do you just jump on a plane to do this? Any idea of how much it would roughly cost??

Thanks if you can help!

i took 3 internal flights last year

its all pretty standard stuff. just use expedia.com to book the ticket, but then also look on the airlines website as they can be cheaper on there.

if you dont have a credit card, just use your camp directors lol (thats what i did anyway). and the internal flights were like all under $100 for me, which is good considering how far u have to fly sometimes

Basically at the end of camp you are responsible for getting yourself back to NY for your flight home. But travel in the USA is so much cheap that onver here.I flew from Utah to New Hampshire a few years ago and it only cost $80.

I have worked at 3 different camps and I think that Gordon was very lucky in his experience. In my experience the directors/admins staff will help you but you will prob need to do it yourself. That being said you will probably have internet access to do so - even if it is in a very limited form (my first camp we had 15 mins a week each - but that is unusual)

You are cheaper to leave booking flights until you get to the USA - when i booked my flights we did it less than a month before we flew and it only cost us $80 to go from Utah to New Hampshire.

travelocity and expedia are about the cheapest ive found, the prices tend to get dearer nearer the time, booking in advance is always cheapest, well for 99% of the airlines ive used :D
