my first post in this group! really wanna travel after too, i'll be based in MA and finish on the 18th of Aug and wanna travel for about a month :-)

good idea about the database. a gd way of doing it could be a facebook group, then having different discussion sections - like different discussions for the different dates people are travelling or something. I'd be happy to set it up. what you think?

hey,

i've noticed, most posts say "my camp ends on .... i wanna travel to .... " thats leads us nowhere...

since this thread was started my someone wanting to start from nyc, i suggest we should start creating a route from there on. now i know that is kinda difficult to do. maybe the one who started this thread makes suggestions for only the first stop. see where that takes this conversation. i looked up megabus, and you could cheaply go to:

washington dc
buffalo
chicago
toronto
Kansas City
Memphis

... ideas?

Probably it would be the best to give a route everyone wants to take. Then the people can be picked up by a group that is traveling through the area and enlarge the group. So the costs could lower even more and the fun raises. ^^

yes of course, but you cannot give a route everyone wants to take at this point, thats the problem.... i guess you'd have to organize everything step by step.

How about having several meeting dates. Like every saturday at the hostel or something like that? Then whoever shows up can decide there and then where to go. People can branch off into their own groups, cus people will want to go to different places.

Does anyone else want to start from the west? That way we can finish in NY which is where its best to be flying home from.

same here... a flight from jfk to san francisco is only 150.... in california you could travel with greyhound, since the cities are kinda close together.
