My appointment is at 10:30 nice and early to get it out of the way, then going over to covent garden to do some shopping in american apparel! yey!

I was also wondering, you know where it says PRINT the answers to the questions on the form, does it have to be in capitals, it doesn't say capitals but I'm just wondering, I won't be a happy bunny as I haven't printed mine in capital letters just printed....do you know what I mean?

:D

I think I know what u mean lol. Which form are u talking about??? The DS-156 (online one) u type out normally :D The DS-158 about work etc...the first time I filled out this form I did it by hand and did the mistake by not hand writing it in capitals (needs to be in capitals if it's handwritten apparently) so I went into panic mode lol until I got told that the form is actually online on the embasy website (I can post the link to the form if u want) So 2nd time round I just typed it out normally instead of handwriting it. I really hope thta made sense to u. Sorry if it doesnt. xxx

so, in filling in the forms you actually have to print out in CAPITALS rather than capitals....? I didn't doublewrite it or anything like that, it was all seperate just not in capital letters I know the links just a bit bumed I have to print them out and fill them in again as I think i've done it about 3 times each form?!

:?

If ur typing it out on computer then write it noramlly so....

Surname...Pook Forename.....Hayley

If ur filling it out by hand then all capitals so....

Surname....POOK Forename....HAYLEY

Dont worry about it. I got sooooooooooo confused till one of my camp friends told me how to write it out etc...

So can I just type it on the computer then? Cos I would be able to do that quicker then writing? So i type into the gaps on the comp after getting the form from the embassy website but in lower case letters if I'm typing?

Sounds easier than re-writing all my work experience info!! gr!! I thought I wasn't confused now I've gone and confused myself!!

did you do it by hand or comp?

:D

I don't think you need to wear a rouser suit or anything, just don't come in muddy shoes and ripped t-shirt. I hear that jeans and a hoody are fine. I'll be wearing a standard tea dress and leggings with dolly shoes :D It's not formal at all though so don't worry too much

Hi,
I realised Ive left this very late and it not like me and I'm very worried, I only booked my appointment at the embassy last thursday - no time for anything to be sent to me. I got emailed a load of forms by CA and how to fill them. I have filled out the DS-156, DS-157 and DS-158 forms.

I've also printed out the Visa Interview Confirmation and the Machine Readable Visa Application Reciept.

I dont have the DS-2019 what is it and how do I get it?!

Please help!
