i've got exactly the same problem, on one of the other threads someone has said that he doesn't know if it's even possible to type it, so i'm hoping he's right!! i've hand written mine too and i really don't like the idea of sitting up all night typing it when i've got to be on the train really early in the morning!!

Hi Guys - I work for the London office and just wanted to clarify you can indeed complete the DS-158 and DS-157 forms by hand. The DS-156 form is the only one you need to complete on-line. A lot of 'DS's' I know - sorry for the confusion!

See some of you at the Embassy tomorow!

Yeah - I have just checked and the PDF version from the US embassy is in editable form, which I never realised before lol. A hand written one is fine though.:D

I remember having to fill out one of the forms online last year and it was annoying because the cursor was clicking from the right hand side of the page rather than the left so the alighment of text was getting screwed up.

Hey, im trying to fill out the ds 158 form, and I have a little question!

Ive never had a job before, so what should I do about the present and previous work experience boxes?

Are they better left blank or fillied with my school information do you think?

Thanx !

Post fill them in online.
Hey every1

You can fill most of the forms in online, i dont think you have to but just might look more tidy when you hand it in.. here is the link to fill them in online, just remember you cant save the information so if you do it wrong and print it you will have to do another from th start.

hope this helps
