You get to make an impact on people's lives, and learn from them at the same time. In a crazy, chaotic and FUN environment.

Reason # 37

You can make the biggest fool out of yourself for the whole summer and nobody else cares because they're all doing it too!! In its essence it is good clean fun. You can be the coolest person in the world before going to camp, but everybody ends up singing, dancing, getting EXTREMELY competitive over silly little games, and in generel just being a it kid again. Its not the sort of thing you can do in the UK without losing a vast amount of street-cred. The best thing - nobody back at home needs to know all the silly, embarrasing, stupid, humilliating, etc things you did over the summer.

Thats my 2 cents - have great summers everybody!

The local wild life.

Adventures on ferries and buses.

Pulling pranks - before they are banned.

Secret buddies.

meeting up with friends old and new.

In a sad way - the end of camp banquet.

it changes peoples lives here's a couple of quotes that remind me of this:

"Out there, we may just be another face in the crowd, but here we change the world one camper at a time"

"the best thing you ever done for me wsa help me take my life less seriously, it's only life after all"

You develope confidence and become the person that you always wanted to be, unless of course that is a career criminal - talking of which is anyone likely to answer that question on the online visa for about going to the USA to commit criminal or terrorist activity with yes - you would have to be a complete moron - if it was your plan u wouldn't admit it.

U get to see things that u could see in this country.

Meet people u would have never have met and do things u would never have had a chance to do.

You get to wake up every morning wishing it would never end.
See , smell and feel what it's like to be in such a great country.
You get to spend time with people that will forever be in your memories
and who knows some people may be in your life forever.

my main reason for going to camp is to make me a more confident person, and make me more prepared for any situations life throws at me.
anything else is just a really good bonus. :)

OOOh so many reasons to do camp.

1.) Gets you out of work for a few months and away from your evil boss.
2.) Chance to travel
3.) Chance to work with kids
4.) An experience of a lifetime
5.) Chance to make loads of new friends for life and possibly future husband! LMAO

The list goes on!

You get to experience american culture, see the landscapes and city's we only see in movies, make friends from all over the world, experience working with children from different backgrounds, become more independent and the most important one just for the pure enjoyment of it...
