does anyone know which airport the free flight home from new york is from?
gonna try fly from lax to ny then get me free flight home.

It's either JFK or Newark as both are served by Virgin Atlantic who cA use the most... Personally I wouldn't book to get to new York on your selected departure date as it does say on the return flights tab of your CA page that you could be placed on a flight before that date if all flights on your selected day are full.

I emailed CA about this as I wanted to know how likely it is I would be flying home on my selected date, and they replied that I was booked on a flight from Newark on my selected day but it's not guaranteed and it could change.

I am also flying from LA to NYC as its cheaper to do that and get the free flight home rather than a DIY home from LA, I have booked a flight to NY 3 days before my selected return flight day, just in case, as I don't fancy paying a few hundred dollars to change my flight of its moved by CA.
