I am looking for four people who would like to join my road-trip from the West Coast to the East Coast.

My plan is simple:

1) On 18th August, we will meet in Los Angeles and rent together a motel for two or three nights

2) We will spend two (or more) days in LA visiting most interesting places such as Hollywood, Venice Beach, Griffith Observatory etc.

3) Then, on 21th August, we will pick up a car (I will make a reservation in June) and start our road trip

4) We are going through:
Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff - Albuquerque - Million Dollar Highway - Mesa Verde National Park - Denver - Kansas City - St Louis - Chicago - Pittsburgh - Washington DC - Philadelphia

5) Around 10th September we will reach New York City

Estimated distance: 3500-3800 miles (5500 km - 6000 km)
Estimated time: 21 days
Estimated cost: probably around 1000$ per person (we share costs of car rental, gasoline, motels, toll roads)

Well, I will finish my camp on 18th August. After that, I will go directly to LA and I'd like to stay there for a while.

I am planning to start my road trip between 18-25th August. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do it earlier.

But we can cross the country much faster and reach NY earlier. I think it is no longer than 10 days drive in itself, so it depends only from what route we will choose and what we will decide to see on our way.

When will you finish your work?

This is a brilliant idea, I would be up for this. it works well as it gets me back to New York to catch my flight back home. The places you have highlighted to visit would be wicked.

This sounds immense! I am still awaiting placement at the moment though so cant even begin to think of dates but if they parrallel with yours Id be up for it providing you havent filled spaces already. Also I have a drivers license so would be happy to share driving!
