Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

Post Girls....bikinis or swimming costume or both?!
Heading to Camp Lanowa in NYC this Friday and just wondering what swimwear people are taking? I own one swimming costume and tonnes of bikinis but do you think I should just take costumes?x

Hey I'm just sorting out what to pack and on the CA site it says to be mindful of swimsuits - I'm gonna take costumes for camp and then just a couple of bikinis for travelling afterwards. Also do you think we will be provided with sheets/duvet or is a sleeping bag best? Thanks X

Hey! My camp (Walden, NY) says no bikinis, and I assumed most other camps would say the same. Also, my camp provides bedding for staff arriving from other continents only, maybe this is the same too?

i'm going to email my camp as they don't say anything and a girl i know was at a camp last year where they allowed bikinis. i suppose it's how you feel as the kids will be young so if you don't mind kids maybe starring then its your call. im going to take 2 costumes then and bikinis for travelling.I'm taking a sleeping bag but my camp does provide bedding.

My camp (Lakota - NYC) says bear in mind appropriate swimwear. I'm taking a full swimsuit and a bikini :) I think it's best to take both because most camps to prefer full pieces x
