I know this is pretty random, but the point of doing camp America (as well being there for the children) is to meet new people, right?

Sooo....this must mean that we're all kinda like minded, and im sure that loads of you just like me want the opportunity to go travelling as well, soooooooo, would anyone be up for trying to sort out some kind of travelling else where if we don't get placed???

Like I said, i realise this is kinda far fetched and would totally mean that we do it on the off chance that we get on, but it could still be kinda cool. A little spontaneous, but just as exciting!! Or am I just crazy for thinking we could still make the best out a rubbish situation if we don't get placed???

Any like minded people crazy enough to take me up on this offer???

Hmmm is it me or does that sound rather awesome. Last time i went the States was cause i felt like it 3 weeks beforehand, next thing you know im travelling all over the east side. So for that reason if i'm not placed, i will do it.

I see where your coming from really, am on RSG as well and been waiting since the start of march and haven't heard anything from camps what so ever and starting to give up hope now really.

However recent updates on here with peeps still being placed at this time is promising, also couple of conversations with CA team down south saying "90%" and "Good chance" of being placed does give me hope.

With thought of another summer in England doesn't sound to promising or exciting what so ever, but travelling does sound good for a plan B. So the worse case scenario of not being placed this summer (fingers crossed it won't happen) and travelling instead, where do you think you'll end up on your travels if doing so

I really don't know where about i'd end up, could look for some cheap flights out to Thailand as its really cheap once your out there?

Anywhere thats cheap, even if it ended up being just travelling around Europe, maybe by the eurotrain, ive heard thats pretty cheap!!
