Hi Jo, I also had this problem. I'm not sure if you mean the guarenteed placement letter on the visa page? Because you can just go onto the guarenteed placement screen in your cad and press print. I guess this is okay as i took this with me to my visa appointment yesterday and all was fine! Hope this helps.

oh right so you mean click on the placement link on the front page of CAD...and starts like this:

Guaranteed Placement Status
Congratulations – not only has your application to Camp America been successful, but we also consider your application strong enough to guarantee a placement for you this summer.

What does having a guaranteed placement mean?.................

It means that you are defn going to the US this summer!!!

During the next 2 weeks you will get an visa mailing frm CA, which helps you to get to your embassy appointment for your J1-Visa. Next thing to do is the Medical form, which you have to take to your doctor to fill it out ( I have raed that some wants money to do this, but mine in Germany has done it for free... maybe you have luck as well :D )
The visa mailing also includes the Handbook in which you can read everything you need to know about your summer.

regarding this support letter, it doesn´t mean that link... there must be another link on your CAd site( I think it´s at the page of the visa details). Only three or four lines...
I printed it out, but at my embassy they didn´t even looked at it... but maybe they will in England.

Hope this helps you! 8)

Hiya, bit of confusion going on there lol. Yes thats the right one, or the same one I took anyway. I think they just generally want to know you're definitely going to the U.S and why. To be honest I'm not even sure they looked properly at mine! whens your visa appointment?

What about if you don't have a support letter? If you are on Ready Steady Go...

Or should you still have one somewhere?

I'm so confused.
