Orientation starts on the 21st and the kids will arrive on the 28th
If you guys have any questions about camp just ask, we could even meet up at some point before camp starts in glasgow or something :)

Theres a staff lodge for the underagers on camp
and your contract will stop you going to the bar if your under 21, not the law
they take it seriously at camp, underage drinking and stuff like that

Haha, yeah I'm sure I'll survive. It's just the best bonding times happen when one is under the influence! aha :)

Oh, and Steven, Elly emailed me back thanking me for being so prompt with my applying online and said that my brief answers were fine. So maybe just apply as soon as you can, no need to go into great detail on anything though, I didn't. And maybe then send her an email and make sure she got it okay?
She also said that my contract and stuff should be arriving soon :) x

But originally I'm from the Isle of Bute, just up here for uni and work :)
What about you? x

Haha, not stupid at all, it's round that general area, yeah!
Like near George Square and stuff? I'm literally like 10 minutes walk from town. So it's pretty good for nights out and shizz :)
Heard of Uddingston, but no idea where abouts it is!

Definitely should organise a night out anyway once more people start being placed! specially if there's a few of us located around Glasgow!
I know I wont be spending my Summer at the exact same camp as you guys, but it'll be good to know folk for training and all that :)

Hey Katie!
I'm not a returned, but the women who chatted to me (Elly) was really nice and
basically I just went on about my experiences with kids, and things that would make me a good choice for them, just show that you're enthusiastic and up for a challenge! so just chat a lot about yourself, like straight from the off, pour it all out so that they don't really even need to ask you anything! aha

Good luck on Saturday! x

hey Naomi, the person that created the group made it a provate group for some reason so if you add me i can invite you into the group :)

Katie i dont think that Vacamas will be at the recruitment fair in London this month, i was working for Vacamas at the edinburgh fair and Elly (the camp director) flew back to new york the day after.

And yeah megan Uddingston is pretty boring haha, i do my camp america interviews near the royal exchange square

I got placed at the Edinburgh recruitment fair, don't think its sunk in yet.

Has anyone else filled out the recruitment form on the web site, i started tonight, and it seems like it could take a while. The form also asks for three references, do i need to fill out the spaces for the third reference.
