Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

hey girls!

I am travelling after camp. Going to LA for a few days...then i start the southern sun trek on 26th august :) then going to spend a few days in New York area before flying back...havent booked the flight back yet though!

and when would you fly back then??

yep i went to the orientation...i enjoyed it :)

I am doing a trek with www.trekamerica.com ...the southern sun one for 21 days :) so yup on my own...though a girl has found me on the forums, so i know someone!

I havent booked my flight back yet, but sometime after 21st sept :)

i looked at ur trip its gonna be awesome !!
but its also soo expensive so I dont think I will be able to afford it...

I am not sure what to do now !! :D

yup...its just over £1000 with the 10% discount.

You can put a deposit down and pay the rest later...thats what i have done!

would you fancy doing a trek?

i think i would, coz its safer and probably more comfortable
but I am still thinking about it, I would prefer to go with only few people for a real adventure but I am not sure I will find those people on the camp !!

Hey guys - no-ones posted on here in a while, and you're probably all off having loads of fun, but I got placed here tonight and will fly out to join you Saturday/Sunday. I was at a GS camp in RI last year, so it's not completely new, but Skylark does look cooler!

I know you guys are just about to have a nice break - I hope you guys all have a fab 4th July (I saw a parade in Bristol, RI last year and it was awesome!) and I'll see you all soon, I guess :D
