Camp America participants will automatically gain access to the forum when they reach the Ready To Place status. Until then, the forum and its contents are read only. When an applicant reaches the RTP stage, accessing the Participant Zone will automatically create a forum login and users can begin posting and replying to forum content.

Ok when i was at my orientation and the j day...i was told i can enter other conutries and then re enter the usa as long as i am before the 30 day grace period.
My quesion is someone told me that i have to send off my forms when i get there and have a section filled in.... is this the case or can i just go to say canada with my visa and forms and be fine ?

I think you're supposed to send your DS-2019 to CA before you go to Canada/Mexico etc, and then once they sign it, it should be okay. If you're def going, it might be best to just double check with CA exactly what you need to do...

About 2 weeks before the end of camp youre supposed to send it to the american CA office and somebody signs your 2019 to say youre still in good standing with the program - not been fired etc! I went to canada, and theyre supposed to check it on the way back in, and i'd been staying with family and the guy at immigration on the ca/usa border wasnt even interested in it, jsut handed it back to me without looking at it, jsut asked me where i was going and when i was flying home and what i'd been doing. Probably a good idea to take a copy of your flight home booking or if you've not booked it somethign to prove you've booked a DIY flight as at least then you can prove you are leaving the country. So yes you are supposed to get it signed but after all the hassle i went through to get mine done it really didnt seem worth it.
