Hi! Right so im really confused! and Iv read the posts on here are confusing me more! lol.

Im on RSG and my visa appoinment is 9am on friday 22nd may....is this a Jday or a normal day?

Iv been reading about camp america sending out visa forms etc but how long do these take to come? I was placed on RSG go last week....forms were printed 11th June. Theres both online and paper forms...right?

I read the powerpoint from camp america but it says it applies to Jday only!

Sorry if Im sounding completly stupid but im really confused!

hey yea that is a J-day, i'm on rsg and booked in for 8.30 so you'll be reet behind me!

i am soooo confused by it all too. there are so many things to take, and i don't know if there'll be time for CA to post forms etc argh! plus exam stress at the mo isn't helping!

the powerpoint applies to Jday and non Jday apointments all the paperwork is the same. I'm not sure if thats a Jday but i should think it is

Catherine, Im soo confused! So what will happen if we dont get the forms in time? Can you download them? ....I no how you mean about added stress!!.....Im fed up of essays and uni presentations! .....Whens your availablity date? mines the 6th june but think il have to change it a few days to make sure I get my passport back!

argh i know! i only just got the email from CA, i got the one from the embassy earlier today, but now i dont know about the 2 weeks thing too, my start date was 30th may but CA changed it on my CAD 'due to embassy turnaround times' to the 6th june. so i'm thinking that should be fine? and then that'd be a-ok for you too?

also on the CA email it says ring them 'urgently' if you havent recieved your visa pack within 10 days of your appointment, well my appointment wasn't even booked within 10 days of my appointment! argh i am so confused!

the powerpoint is quite good tho - like i had LITERALLY no idea what to do before reading it, now i have a small inkling... but like i made a topic on here about some stuff on it i still dont understand, like what they say about your start date has to be within one month of your eligibility or something that i didn't even know what it was?!

Sometimes they will just give you those forms at the embassy. The ones you get through the post are just 2 sheets anyway - all the rest are online, and it tells you how to find them in the powerpoint.

Just give them a quick e-mail to make sure you are getting the forms at the embassy.

Yea if they've changes your date to then , then that should mean its ok n ur passport will be back so thats fine for me!! Il look for your thread katie see if it answers my questions!

Last year CA didn't get my DS2019 forms out in time for my visa appointment, they told me to go along anyway. I was really worried, expecting the embassy to turn me down cos I didn't have them but it was ok! The embassy said to just send the form to them when I got it and I got my visa through a few days after sending the DS2019 in. Don't worry!!

When did everyone receive the email from embassy with times??? im panicking as I only know my appointment is next friday from checking CAD and I need to book transport pronto! Its already gone up in price since last night. Cintacted CA but they are closed for weekend. Stressing!!!!!

I think I got my e-mail from the embassy the same day my CAD changed to say the date. Didn't get my e-mail from CA for a few days.

i got my email from the embassy, then from CA then my CAD only changed a while after both of them.

I'm sure if your CAD has changed tho then thats right? looks like there's gunna be a whole load of us down there on friday then!
