Post Visa help please!
ok so my visa forms got printed yesterday, and my appointment is a week today, but i don't really understand the whole process but people seem to be talking about CA posting them all the visa forms and it taking AGES to come, non?

basically i am worried i wont have any time to do everything/not even get them on time.

- also for proof of return did people at uni just get letters from their uni?

cheers!

oh also - one more question

on my visa receipt the account holder and card number are someone random, is that because we pay thru CA?

Ok...
So if you go onto cad then onto visa there are two forms you need to fill in there and then the things CA send you basically need a signature from you if they dont get to you in the post they will meet you on the day with them.
For proof of return I had a letter from Uni but one from your parents will work.

yeah the name and card no are random its a CA person that pays for you.

ok cheers very much!

filling in the forms online and as im RSG i don't have a flight date, the powerpoint says

'put your earliest date of availability. This must not be more than one month before the start date of your certificate of eligibility'

... but i don't know what my certificate of eligibility is?

AND letters from uni... did you get someone to write it officially? with term dates and that like it says? and does it need to be signed my someone from uni? i am so confused by it all! argh! haha

Sorry about all the questions, i think i am just really panicking about getting refused! haha

if you look on your CAD, there should be a tab on the left hand side that says 'Visa'. click on that, then there are two forms you need to fill in. use the powerpoint that is on that page aswell, as it will tell you exactly which forms to fill in and how to do it, just follow the instructions.

then CA will either send you the other forms, or if there isnt time they might meet you at the embassy with them (i would email and check). these forms only need to be signed and dated.

then you take all the forms and the passport to your embassy appointment with you!

hope that helps. the powerpoint thing really is useful, so make sure you use it!

ok so another question (i'm not ususally this hopeless at things btw!)

but i come from a big family, like there's my ma and da then i've three brothers and two sisters... so on that form where you have to fill in your siblings and that there is obvs not enough room. do you recks just filling all the spaces in and missing off like the two youngest will be ok??

Hmm....not sure cos there's only me, my partents and my brother so I had space. Seeing as it's your immeidate family it might be worth including them, on a seperate sheet.
