Post Help! Horsey camps!!
Hi,

I was going to start emailing some camps maybe in the new year and am interested in camps with a focus or just with an option of horse riding as thats what my main skill and qualification is in. So if anyone knows of any if you could let me know that would be great!!

Thanks xx

Quite a few of us are going to Camp Rim Rock, that has a strong horse riding focus.

on the forum last year someone said that if ur applying thru an organisation such as camp america then some camps dont like u contacting them directly!! if ur skills are horse riding based im sure ca and a camp will place u at a camp that suits ur skills!!! they r unlikely to place u at a camp that u dont have any skills in the activities that they offer!!!

i no its horrible waiting but uv applied early enough so u have a high chance of getting placed if ur application is strong enough!!!

Hi!

OK thank you! Thats what I thought, I don't want to bother any camps as like you said if they wanted to hire me then they would without me eamiling them!

Thanks,

x

hi!
I've been to camp greystone for the pst 3 years and im heading there again next summer, it has an amazing equestrian facility, and employs about 15-20 overseas(thats us) riding staff, so if yu get an offer for there defo look into it, as its an opportunity not to be missed! we specialise in just the horses so get our own, house just for the riding staff! its fab!

www.campgresytone.com if you fancy a look!

and dont be put off if any camps specialise in religion like ours is a christian camp, but its a case of if you want to you can join in the the christian side of it if not aslong as you respect your going to a religion based camp then dont let that put you off.

hope that helps.
