This year isn't like any other and camps are being inundated with emails not just from international staff but from many thousands of American students who are looking to work at summer camps this year as there are less alternative job opportunities due to the current global economic situation. If camps are continually inundated with emails they're unable to do their job - which isn't helping anyone! Camp America continues to work hard to find our applicants placements for summer 2009. We want you to have a great summer as much as you do and know it can be really difficult waiting but politely ask you to be patient.
