Hey. I've got an appointment at 2pm on the 17th. Phoned up CA and they said there weren't any left on that day, so phoned the embassy and got one! Got to trek all the way from Glasgow tho  - tried to get one in Belfast, but they had none till May!

Are there still people waiting for the VISA documents to come through the post from camp america other than me? My appointement is on the 17th but after numerous phone calls the postman is still to drop them off.

Is anybody else sweating on this? I have everything in place, train tickets costing nearly £100, a day booked off work and everything. If they dont come through will i still be able to attend and get it all sorted? I simply cant afford for them to rearrange it

I think there are quite a few. I know of a couple. Last year mine apaprently got lost in the post so a week before my interview i called CA and they emailed me the information on completing the online forms and i jsut brought them with me and then CA met me at the embassy along with a bunch of others in the same situation and handed us the forms we shoudl ahve received in the post. So dont panic, if it gets to a week before your appointment give them a call :-)

Hey. I've got my visa mailing, but what are the 'camp america stickers' and the courier delivery form'? Cos I'm in Scotland I was sent the info for Belfast, and I don't have these two things on the check list!

the CA stickers are jsut to go on your passport to identify it easer but theyre not vital. I knwo the usually have spares at the J-days but not belfast.

THe courier delivery form is for returnin yoru passport. If you go to london they send your passport to CA when its done an dthen CA mail it to you with yoru t-shirt, for belfast i think you have to take a prepaid envelope wiht you.

Yeah, I was going to Belfast originally, but have to go to London instead cos the next Belfast appointments aren't till May! Do you usually fill in the courier form before the day or while you're there? All the info I've got doesn't say what to do if you hv to go to london.

If there is anyone who hasn't got their visa forms I would be more than willing to type out which forms you need to get from the embassy website so that you fill them in just incase.

I also don't mind typing out some instructions on what you should have for the day and things, just let me know :D

Im nervous Hayley.

I keeping telling myself to stop checking the forms and leave the double checking until wednesday night. I just need to glue my photo on and I'm done. although I made a mistake on the work experience form by putting the dates in UK order not USA order, I haven't changed it but do you think I should? eek! worry wart!

:D
