Step 3: gather up the additional paperwork you need and attend your interview!
Step 4: following your interview, log back in to your applicant site and complete your 'Application' (which Camp Directors will see - so make it good!).
Step 5: Use the Camp America Direct site to track the progress of your application and interact with Camp America.
If you want to know more about what to bring to the interview...or learn about what happens once your interview is complete, read on...
It is highly recommended that a copy of the application form is brought with you to the Recruitment Fair to save you time on the day. If you have yet to register and complete the application form then click on the Apply link above. A payment of (£60) will be needed on the day of the Recruitment Fair to secure a placement. If the payment has been made online prior to the fair then no other payment is required on the day.
When applying to Camp America there are certain important items you'll need to supply...
References: every application (unless you're returning to the same camp) should be accompanied by 2 references. We're pretty strict with our reference rules, and we'll be unable to accept any references that don't match our requirements so pay attention!
You can download a pdf version of the Open Character Reference here.
Police Check: as well as references each application will require a police check. In England and Scotland you'll be required to complete a form to obtain a Criminal Records Bureau check at interview. In all other countries you'll be expected to obtain your own Police Check which you can generally apply for directly from your local police station.
For more information or advice on either references or police checks, please speak to your interviewer.
