Once you have completed your online application via our website, you will be presented with a list of steps to be taken. The 3rd step is 'Select an Interviewer' and here you will see a list of interviewers that are sorted by regions. Just select your region and then select the nearest interviewer to you. Once you have made the selection your application is available for the interviewer to review. The interviewer will review your application and respond to you within 5 days. If they have not responded within this time frame you should contact your local Camp America office either by email or phone. All communication is initially conducted via the Camp America web site. It is therefore essential that you log on at least every two days to check for any updates.
After you have completed your application form and pressed the SUBMIT button your application is then available for review by your chosen interviewer.
You do not mail your application anywhere. Your application is an online process so is only available online, at www.mycampamerica.com, for the Camp America Interviewer and Camp America to review. Please carefully follow the instructions sent to you by your interviewer.
It is a visa regulation that participants must be 18 when they fly to the United States, therefore Camp America does not accept applications from people who are not 18 by 1st June. The only exception is: exceptionally skilled, experienced and certified people who are 18 in the first week of June. If you feel you fall into the exceptionally skilled, experienced and certified category please email your full details to Camp America for consideration.
